The 365 Sit Up Challenge: More Rules

So the questions has been raised as to what constitutes a "sit up". You see in these types of endeavors there are several roadblocks to completion. One of these is boredom. Doing the same thing day after day can be mind-numbingly dull, so a little variety is in order as long as we stay true to the spirit of the undertaking. After a little discussion I believe we've settled on a few simple guidelines to govern ourselves by.
1. One must actually "sit up", i.e. no crunches or leg raises.
2. You may anchor your feet, but only after day fifty. Building the strength to perform these un-anchored is part of the deal and by the fiftieth day, you probably won't need to.
3. No swinging of the arms to get momentum.
4. Arms can be positioned any way you like, except hands behind the head.
5. Knees can be bent or straight.
6. You may use equipment, as long as the equipment does not assist in the sit up.

Have fun!
